The classes were better than I could expect. The teacher has a really communicative method focused on actual language in real-life context, providing interesting topics and making you forget you´re making an effort.

He didn´t allow me to use English during the class, which made me use all my Arabic resources and I felt a quick and solid improvement of my language skills in a very short period of time.

My name is Haley Bobseine and I studied Arabic with Bassam for almost three months during the summer of 2010.

Although at times demanding and tough, Bassam is an excellent teacher and he helped me improve my Arabic in a short period of time.

The Arabic Teaching program has been excellent.  Before my arrival in Syria at the beginning of the summer, I intended to enroll at the University of Damascus to study Arabic.  After one lesson with Bassam Al-Kadi, however, I realized that private lessons would be a much better use of my time.
